We didn't start in AI. We started in systems that had to work.
Three decades of building, securing, and scaling systems at companies where failure had real consequences. Every lesson from that journey feeds into the AI governance work we do today.
The birth of ebusiness
Software companies, EDI, the first wave of internet-enabled business. Harbinger, Avaya, PeopleSoft. The internet was accelerating what used to take months into days, and we were building the systems that made it work.
Massive scale, forged in fire
eBay, CafePress, Microsoft. Systems handling millions of concurrent users and billions in transactions. This is where we learned what breaks at massive scale and how to prevent it. Pioneering the latest technology to achieve real business value as the internet boomed.
Cloud goes mainstream, security evolves
Morgan Stanley, American Express, Zuora, Exelon. Cloud went mainstream and everything-as-code changed how we think about security. IAM became the new perimeter. We helped Fortune 500 companies make that transition without losing their compliance posture. Co-chaired the Cloud Security Alliance Zero Trust Working Group. Became CSA Research Fellows. Authored CSA's most-downloaded guidance paper on Zero Trust for critical infrastructure.
AI agent governance
Created the Agentic Trust Framework. Wrote the book. Enabled nearly 2,000 researchers at a Fortune 500 biotech company to adopt AI, winning their highest innovation award. Built a secure AI chatbot for export control compliance at a national lab serving the Department of Energy. Now we help organizations govern AI agents at every scale.
What drives every engagement
Governance gets you the return.
AI agents without governance don't deliver business value. They create risk, stall in review, and erode trust. Governance is what gets agents into production, delivering the return your leadership is counting on.
Your team is the hero.
We're guides. Your people do the work, make the decisions, build the expertise. When we leave, they run the program. That's not a limitation of our model. It's the entire point.
Security is the accelerator.
Think of it like a roll cage in a race car. It doesn't slow you down. It lets you take corners faster because you know you're protected. We build that confidence into every engagement.
